Nathan started to develop an interest in acting at an early age. A
pivotal point came when he started to watch an American sitcom called “My Wife
and Kids”. He found the synergy between the actors intriguing and compelling; to
him it seemed as if they were constantly having fun in front and off camera.
From that time he associated acting with fun and fulfillment.
In 2005 at the age
of 14 years old he decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. His
starting point was to contact Anne Scher’s acting school/agency formerly known
as “The Young Actors Theatre”. The training and guidance he received was
invaluable, he learnt many aspects of the art of acting. During this period he
decided to go on their books and was represented by them.In a short space of
time he got his first acting role, where he played a young black teen being
stereotyped in a film called “Traffic Roulette”, this allowed him to put many
of the things he had learnt into practice. Many auditions followed, which lead
him to get a part in an advert for Yellow Pages and MTV. This exposure increased
his confidence and profile allowing him to get many acting jobs over the years.
In 2012 he took the brave and crucial decision to leave Young Actors Theatre
and to be represented by New Faces Talent Ltd, where he plans to increase/develop
his profile and take his acting career to the next level.
